ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — Health officials are urging people to stay away from animals behaving unusually after a rabid fox was found in Rockingham County.
The Rockingham County Department of Health and Human Services said the fox was captured near N.C. Highway 770 in the Stoneville area. It later tested positive for rabies.
