Kernersville (N.C.) East Forsyth High School defensive lineman Chosen Hyman has announced his commitment to East Carolina University coming off an official visit to campus over the weekend.
Hyman is a long-time target of the Pirates who was initially offered back in November of 2025, after a game day visit. He was recruited by defensive line coach Roy Tesh, who recruits the Triad for ECU.
East Forsyth went 7-5 last season, falling to Lake Norman in the state playoffs on Nov. 14. Hyman had a successful junior campaign, where he racked up 56 tackles, including 11 tackles for loss, and four sacks. As a sophomore in 2024, Hyman had 14 tackles and one sack…
