ArkLaTex: Warm, humid conditions; thunderstorms likely

SHREVEPORT, La. — Warm and humid conditions will continue across the ArkLaTex this week, with isolated thunderstorm chances remaining in the forecast through Wednesday before drier weather arrives heading into next weekend.

High temperatures Sunday reached the upper 80s across much of the region. Shreveport recorded a high of 86 degrees, while Marshall and Texarkana reached 88 degrees. Idabel and De Queen both topped out at 89 degrees.
