Easton man pleads guilty to helping shooter flee after birthday party attack: DA

An Easton man was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to helping a teenage gunman flee from a birthday party shooting that wounded multiple people last summer on the city’s South Side, authorities announced.

Dante Holmes-Eutsey, 21, pleaded guilty Wednesday, June 17, to hindering apprehension, a third-degree felony, in connection with the July 12, 2025, shooting in the 100 block of East Wilkes Barre Street, county District Attorney Stephen Baratta said in a news release.

He was immediately sentenced to 5 to 23 months in Northampton County Prison, followed by two years of county probation, Baratta said…
