Cumberland County Schools will shuffle seven administrators and give promotions to two vice principals when the 2026-27 school year starts. Officials made the announcement last week, according to the Fayetteville Observer. The moves bring new leadership to Manchester and J.W. Coon elementaries, both of which shut their doors May 26.
“These administrative transfers reflect our continued focus on aligning experienced leaders with the needs of our schools and departments,” said CCS Superintendent Dr. Eric Bracy in a news release, as reported by the Fayetteville Observer. “Each of these leaders brings valuable experience to their new assignments, and we look forward to their continued service in support of students, staff, families, and the community.”
