SHELBYVILLE, Ky. — A planned bridge closure in Shelby County has been pushed back another week.
The aging U.S. 60 East (Main Street) bridge over Clear Creek in Shelby County is closing for nearly six months to be completely replaced.
Officials said the bridge was expected to close for demolition on June 29, but in an update the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said it would now close on July 6 to ensure construction can be done “safely and efficiently.”…
