CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) – On the steps of the historic 1917 Courthouse, the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors introduced Dr. Kevin Catlin, who will become the new county administrator.
“My commitment is to continue fostering that culture that has made Chesterfield so successful while working alongside all of you to build upon that strong foundation,” said Dr. Catlin.
Dr. Catlin will also be making history as Chesterfield’s first Black county administrator.
“I do carry a lot of weight on my shoulders to ensure that folks who look like me know that they have an opportunity like this in the future to serve,” he said.
