(KRON) — Two teenagers from San Jose were among five people arrested in Livermore for breaking into cars, police said.
The incident happened at 2:30 a.m. on June 18, when multiple Livermore residents called 911. Residents told emergency dispatchers that several masked burglars were breaking into vehicles.
Officers surrounded an area between Holmes Street and Arroyo Road. “During the search, Livermore police officers observed a silver sedan traveling at a high rate of speed near Normandy Way and Rhone Court. At approximately 3:07 a.m., officers located the vehicle. Working with assisting units, officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop at Tesla Road and Concannon Boulevard,” the Livermore Police Department wrote.
