BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Three people were arrested following a methamphetamine trafficking investigation by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office that ended June 18.
According to the sheriff’s office, agents with the Vice and Narcotics Unit conducted a traffic stop on Maco Road with help from the Special Operations Unit and K-9 teams. Agents found 107 grams of methamphetamine during the investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
Billy Jack Sasser, 46, of Supply, was charged with assault on a law enforcement agency animal, two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
