Reported robbery at Lincoln gas station believed to be false, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Further investigation into a reported robbery at a Lincoln gas station has led authorities to believe the report was false.

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) began investigating after a 43-year-old gas station employee reported being assaulted and robbed while taking out the trash after work.
