Suspect in Maestas murder charged with manslaughter

BERNALILLO — Almost two years later, teens allegedly responsible for the death of 15-year-old Adrian Maestas have been identified in public court proceedings.

One teen made a first appearance in public court for a voluntary manslaughter charge and two others appeared for dueling charges tied to the incident on June 22. A fourth teen was seen in court June 15.

Dominic Rosal was charged as a youthful offender for voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful carry of a weapon by a person younger than 19 and dueling. The other three teens, identified by court records as Ayden Reyes, Ashton Seefeldt and Ean Spencer, were charged with dueling and unlawful carry of a deadly weapon by a person younger than 19.
