Haymount Truck Stop, a hub for area food trucks, is preparing to open a second location in Hoke County.
The business’s premier location at 100 Broadfoot Ave. in the heart of Haymount in Fayetteville opened in November of 2023. Owners Jordan Sherrod and Chris Beaty introduced the concept to provide a hub for the community and uplift local businesses by collaborating with food truck vendors, breweries and artists.
“[When you’re] starting a business that’s something completely different, you don’t really have much to base it on. There’s always a question mark of like, what’s the success going to be?” shared Co-owner Jordan Sherrod. “We’ve been really privileged by the Fayetteville-Cumberland County community to have had a really good customer base, and then you know we have just been privileged to be here and to grow and to be as successful as we are.”…
