Security chief position eliminated at Montgomery County Public Schools due to budget cuts

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — As a result of budget cuts, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) has eliminated the security officer job for the upcoming school year.

That means Marcus Jones, who previously served as the chief of the Montgomery County Police Department, is out of a job.
