Springfield city leaders consider multi-million dollar bond for major company and a hold on data centers

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Springfield City Council took up critical issues at a busy meeting Monday night. They ranged from multi-million-dollar projects to considering how to best plan for the future in technology.

Councilmembers are considering the initial proposal for a new headquarters for Andy’s Frozen Custard. The company is requesting $32 million for a plan to move from downtown to a new, larger campus located east of Highway 65 at the intersection of Division Street and LeCompte Road.
