Tonight we will see mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorms. Some of the storms that do develop may become severe out on the Eastern Plains. The biggest threat with those storms will be large and damaging hail, and it’s not out of the question to see a brief isolated tornado. It will be on the breezy side with winds out of the southeast at around 10 to 20 mph. Overnight lows will fall into the lower 50s.
Tuesday will bring another chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Expect another round of severe weather out on the Eastern Plains. Once again, the biggest threat with the severe storms that do form will be large damaging hail. Our rain chances will pick up late Tuesday and will continue into the overnight hours with the passage of a cold front. High will climb into the mid to upper 80s.
We have a better chance for more wide spread rain on Wednesday and Thursday. We will see a good chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be much cooler, generally right around 80 degrees…
