Officers made a second arrest in connection with a series of armed robberies at Winston-Salem convenience stores earlier this year, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
Investigators say the robberies happened in February at three locations:
- A BP gas station on Old Greensboro Road on Feb. 11
- A Circle K on W. Clemmonsville Road on Feb. 21
- A Speedway on S. Main Street later that same night
Police say a suspect showed a gun during each robbery and stole cash. Store clerks were assaulted during two of the incidents, resulting in minor injuries…
