JetZero has broken ground on its first manufacturing and final assembly campus in Greensboro, North Carolina, marking the start of a project expected to create 14,500 jobs and bring $4.7 billion in investment to the state over the next decade.
The company said the 8 million-square-foot facility will sit on more than 600 acres and serve as the production home for its next-generation Z4 aircraft. State officials described the project as the largest incentive package ever awarded by North Carolina to a startup company.
