Lifelong Louisvillian to build affordable housing in Park Hill neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — There are plots of land in Louisville’s Park Hill neighborhood that have been vacant since before the turn of the century. One lifelong Louisvillian will convert them into new housing in partnership with the city’s Landbank Authority.

“It’s just so amazing. You know, when I was a little kid, I wouldn’t think walking through these streets and coming down Wilson that years later I’ll be doing a development here,” said Joseph Scott, developer and founder of JoAsh Construction. “That’s very inspiring, and I hope it’s inspiring to other kids.”
