Owner charged after dogs mauled woman to death

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -A dog owner is being charged with involuntary manslaughter after a woman was mauled to death by dogs he owned.

According to court records, Keith Mason, 55, is being charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter after dogs mauled a woman to death in January 2025.

Court records state Mason failed to secure or retrain his dogs on Jan. 15, 2025, which allowed them to attack and maul the woman, ultimately causing her death.
