(UPDATE 6/23/2026): DOTD advises motorists that beginning on Thursday, June 25, 2026, permanent striping operations will begin on LA 511 (70th Street) between Line Ave. and Linwood Ave. in Shreveport.
These operations are part of a project to provide an asphalt overlay on four routes in Caddo and Bossier Parishes. This work will require brief, intermittent lane closures through Sunday, June 28th.
Additionally, striping will begin on US 80 (Greenwood Rd) between Hearne Ave. and Johnson St. on Monday, June 29th for approximately four (4) days…
