Boise to mark America 250 with July 4 celebration featuring music, drones, fireworks

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise is marking the nation’s 250th anniversary with an expanded Fourth of July celebration at Ann Morrison Park, featuring live music, a patriotic drone show and the city’s traditional fireworks display.

The City of Boise is inviting residents and visitors to the park on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for a special edition of its annual Independence Day event commemorating 250 years of the United States. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with food and beverage vendors, family-friendly activities and the park’s interactive fountain illuminated in red, white and blue.

A free patriotic performance by the Boise Philharmonic, the city’s Cultural Ambassador, is scheduled for 9 p.m. A patriotic drone light show is expected at about 10:15 p.m., followed by fireworks at about 10:35 p.m. The fireworks will be synchronized to music broadcast on 107.1 Hank FM…
