Hilltown Township Police are investigating a reported incident Monday morning at the Dollar Tree in Hilltown after a resident publicly alleged his daughter was approached, touched inappropriately and followed by a man inside and outside the store.
Police Chief Christopher Engelhart confirmed Tuesday that the matter is under investigation, but said he could not provide additional details at this time.
In a post shared to several local Facebook community groups, a resident posting as “David Thomas” said the incident occurred between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Dollar Tree in Hilltown.
