Asheville Police Department investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying an armed robber who held up a Speedway convenience store early Thursday morning on June 11.
When officers responded to the store shortly before 8 a.m., an employee told officers that a man wearing a mask and a hoodie had entered the store and made a small purchase. The man returned, approached the counter and, at gunpoint, demanded that the clerk give him money, according to police reports.
The man left with $407 in cash in a white 4-door Infiniti sedan with tinted windows, traveling southbound on Hendersonville Road. The suspect is described as a black male in his early 40s, wearing a black and white flannel shirt, mask, hat and blue jeans…
