Woman accused of stashing nearly 30 bags of fentanyl inside her body, sheriff’s office says

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – A woman was arrested after she allegedly stashed 28 bags of fentanyl inside her body, according to the authorities.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Gina Redding, 48, passed a roadblock that was set up while utility crews were working on power lines.

Redding allegedly drove past a deputy stationed to redirect traffic. She was stopped at the other end of the closed road by another deputy and given a ticket.

Redding was not happy that she got a ticket, so she followed the deputy’s patrol vehicle and called 911, Judd said…
