ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police have shared bodycam footage from a shots-fired call that went out from a busy, east-side park in the city.
On Sunday, police were called to Manzano Mesa Park, where witnesses reported a man firing a handgun. For nearly two hours, officers coordinated resources, managed the scene, and repeatedly gave commands to the alleged suspect.
Ultimately, officers were able to arrest 25-year-old Jorge Lemus Gonzalez for felony negligent use of a firearm, along with unlawful carrying of a firearm on school grounds, resisting/evading or obstructing an officer, and other related charges…
