ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – U.S. Army Soldier Zarrius Hildabrand, who’s accused of murdering his wife Saria in August of 2023, took the stand in an Anchorage courtroom Tuesday to testify in his own defense.
Zarrrius is accused of murdering Saria after a night of partying to celebrate his 21st birthday.
Zarrius told the court he had little memory of what had happened the night before and still felt drunk and hungover the next morning. It was the same morning that he discovered his wife dead in their bed. He said he pulled back the covers and saw that she had been shot in the head…
