Upper Nazareth hit-and-run injures 4, driver extricated, chief says

Four people were injured Tuesday evening in Upper Nazareth Township when a BMW driver slammed into another luxury vehicle and fled the scene, police said.

Township Police Chief William Cope said officers were called just after 9:15 p.m. Tuesday to a reported hit-and-run collision in the 3200 block of Newburg Road.

Investigators found a Lexus with severe damage to the driver’s side and missing its left rear wheel.
