A violent confrontation at Figueroa Street and Seventh Street, Los Angeles, left a longtime hotdog vendor injured Sunday, after cellphone footage captured an unidentified woman brutally tackling and pummeling her during an alleged extortion attempt.

The Los Angeles victim, Arabelia Martinez, 62 years old, was operating her mobile hot dog cart when a female suspect approached and initiated a tense verbal altercation. Mobile video captured the woman pouring chamoy over the food products before the dispute rapidly escalated into a direct physical struggle.

When Martinez reacted by throwing powdered spices toward her abuser, the Los Angeles suspect charged directly across the sidewalk.
