CONWAY, S.C. — A lightning strike that hit Leone’s Italian Ristorante during last weekend’s storm caused an estimated $20,000 in damage and lost revenue, but the downtown Conway restaurant reopened after repairs were completed.
The family-owned restaurant resumed normal operations Thursday, June 18 after lightning damaged its rooftop air conditioning unit Saturday night, forcing the business to suspend operations while repairs were made.
