SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego residents are speaking out about the Mission Gorge Rock Quarry, raising concerns about noise, dust, and, at times, damage to their homes that they say is linked to blasting operations.
“It’s definitely picked up in recent months since Vulcan took over the quarry,” said Jennifer Ikel, board president of the Mariposa Homeowners Association.
