SANTA ANA PUEBLO — Lescombes Family Vineyards, a family- owned and operated vineyard and restaurant business in New Mexico, will get some of their grapes from Santa Ana Pueblo’s 26-acre Tamaya Vineyard.
Lescombes Creative Content Manager Daniel Gonzales said Tamaya’s capabilities to grow grapes that Lescombes can’t was part of the reason they entered into the contract.
“They have some varieties that we do grow, but we need more of or could use more of. So we’re going to harvest those grapes, and we’re purchasing those grapes. That way, we can fill a gap in our products selection,” he said…
