SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Greenville Police Officer Ashley Munoz and her in-laws, who were killed in a Spartanburg County crash, were laid to rest on Thursday.
Family members, law enforcement, and the community all gathered at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Simpsonville for a funeral mass.
The crash
Munoz, 35, was one of six people involved in a crash on May 15. She, along with her mother and father in-law and two other people, died at the scene.
Munoz is survived by her wife, Diana Munoz, who was also in the crash and works as an officer for the Greenville Police Department. The couple has two young children.
