The Village of Oak Harbor will invest about $600,000 in street improvements this year through its 2026 Paving Program, with work expected to begin in July and be completed by Sept. 15.
The project is supported in part by funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission, including a $175,000 grant and a $75,000 zero-interest loan.
Paving improvements will include:
- South Church Street from Ohio 163 to Mill Street
- Mill Street from South Church Street to Ohio 19
- South Railroad Street from Benton Street to Ohio 19
“These projects are made possible through grant funding and the street levy supported by Oak Harbor residents since 1988,” Oak Harbor Mayor Quinton Babcock said. “We are pleased that we can keep the streets in good condition and also make upgrades when cost-effective to do so.”…
