WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Aviation Museum announced the 2026 Kansas Aviation Hall of Fame class Wednesday, honoring Kansans who’ve shaped flight.
Six industry leaders will be inducted into the hall of fame:
- Nadine Ramsey — One of only 50 women to provide wartime service training during World War II. She also became one of the first women to earn her commercial pilot’s license and one of the first in the world to fly for the U.S. Air Mail Service in Kansas.
- Thomas Carr — Experimental test pilot
- Ed Bolen — Current president of the National Business Aviation Association
- Al Higdon — Marketer for Beechcraft and Learjet
- Harold Miller — Wichita’s first active Black air traffic controller
- Robert Taylor — Founded Executive AirShare in Wichita in 2000
