FLETCHER, N.C. (WLOS) — A bicyclist was hospitalized with “significant injuries” following a traffic accident in Fletcher on Tuesday morning, according to Fletcher Police Department Chief Dan Terry.
The accident occurred around 11:47 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, at the U.S. 25 and Old Airport Road intersection between a vehicle and a bicyclist.
Terry said the bicyclist crossed the intersection “against” the red light in front of moving southbound traffic on U.S. 25, making the bicyclist “at fault.”…
