GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – The Greenville Humane Society has officially opened a newly expanded spay and neuter clinic.
The clinic, located at 300 Airport Road, officially reopened to the public on Monday, June 22.
“The opening of this new Spay and Neuter Clinic represents a monumental step forward for animal welfare across the Upstate and surrounding communities,” says Rachel Delport, Chief Executive Officer of the humane society. “By expanding access to affordable, high-quality spay and neuter services, we are creating lasting change — reducing pet overpopulation, preventing unnecessary suffering, and helping thousands of animals and families for generations to come.
The clinic originally opened in 2017, and saw a nearly 40% surge in demand for spay and neuter services. The Humane Society now performs almost 14,000 surgeries annually…
