WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man was arrested for choking a one-year-old child.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said on Thursday, just after 5 p.m., officers were called to the 1300 block of Shepherd Street for reports of a domestic violence assault.

Responding officers found a one-year-old girl, whom the suspect had previously choked. A woman was also located, and she notified officers that she had also been assaulted. Both were reported to be found conscious and breathing.
