Wilmington police arrest three suspects in gang-related shootings investigation

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Three men are in police custody following a recent investigation into a series of gang-related shootings in Wilmington.

According to the Wilmington Police Department (WPD), the shootings happened in the Vesta Village community and near Henry Street during the weekend of May 30.

During the investigation, WPD arrested 23-year-old Isaiah Kyree Lewis, 25-year-old Tazhan Deandre Beverly and 19-year-old Jahzail Shamon Grady.

Warrants allege the three men conspired to commit assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill, and assaulted two people with handguns…
