WHITINSVILLE – It was a fitting place to celebrate such a milestone.
Dozens of Gaudette Insurance Agency employees and supporters enjoyed an afternoon that included champagne, live music, and plenty of pomp and circumstance on June 20 as the company celebrated its 100th anniversary. The occasion was celebrated at Whitin Park in Whitinsville, home to the Gerry Gaudette Pavilion.
The second-generation leader of Gaudette Insurance Agency, Gerry Gaudette Jr. joined the company in 1963 and led it for over 30 years. The lifelong Blackstone Valley resident died at 63 in 2003, leaving a profound legacy that inspired his widow, Barbara Gaudette and his son, Lee Gaudette, the agency’s third-generation leader, to have the pavilion built in his honor in 2007…
