Laura Wood feels like she manifested getting involved with the xTexas Trail Association.
The Fort Worth conservationist and fundraiser has followed the nonprofit since it launched two years ago. The organization, founded by Mesquite native Charlie Gandy, is creating a 1,500-mile bike, hike and horseback trail spanning the breadth of the Lone Star State.
