NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Though Louisiana has voted to eliminate vehicle inspection stickers, they remain in place in New Orleans, Kenner and Westwego. On Friday, Kenner council members are expected to vote on whether to eliminate them there.
The Kenner Council will consider a measure to eliminate the inspection program, which costs thousands of residents $10 a year, but concerns remain.
