Watch: Domino’s manager dubbed ‘World’s Fastest Pizza Maker’

June 26 (UPI) — The manager of a Domino’s pizzeria in Virginia earned the title of the “World’s Fastest Pizza Maker” when he assembled three large pies in 31.22 seconds.

Manassas resident Richard Delcid claimed the top spot at the Domino’s World Fastest Pizza Making Competition in Las Vegas, earning $5,000 in prize money, a trophy and a championship belt.

The finalists at the May 13 competition were required to make three large pizzas: one pepperoni, one mushroom and one cheese. Delcid’s pizzas passed an inspection examining how well he hand-stretched the dough, spread the sauce and distributed the toppings, earning him the title with a time of 31.22 seconds.
