If you have a passion for public education and a few nights to spare each month, there may be a spot for you at the local school district.
That’s because Deb Bridges has resigned from her post as chair of the Newberg-Dundee school board after moving outside the district she represented.
As a result, the school board is seeking applications to fill the Zone 2 spot for the remainder of Bridges’ term through June 2027. The seat will be up for election in the May 2027 election, and the winner will take the helm at the end of the appointed member’s tenure.
