Firefighters rescue two seriously injured people from burning Hillsboro home

HILLSBORO, Ore. (KATU) — Two people were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after firefighters rescued them from a burning home in Hillsboro on Thursday afternoon.

The fire was reported at around 2 p.m. in the 1700 block of Southeast Oak Street. Hillsboro Fire said the response was upgraded to a two alarm response.
