Clackamas Fire announces ‘Extreme Fire Danger’ in forested lands

Based on current dry conditions and forecasted high temperatures, Clackamas Fire, in conjunction with the Oregon Department of Forestry, has moved into “Extreme Fire Danger” effective Wednesday, Aug. 12.

That means restrictions will be in place at all ODF-protected areas in the county. The restrictions include:

  • No debris burning
  • No campfires
  • No smoking while traveling on forestlands
  • No power saw use
  • No off-road driving
  • No cutting, grinding, welding
  • No mowing/cutting of dried/cured grass
  • No using spark-emitting internal combustion engines
