Man Tries Cashing Bogus $2.5K Check Issued From Ambulance Company In Red Hook: Cops

A 41-year-old Schenectady man was jailed after allegedly trying to cash a fake check issued by a local ambulance company at a Dutchess County credit union location, police said.

Schenectady resident Joseph Blaney was arrested on Thursday, June 25, following an incident at the Mid Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union location at 7472 South Broadway in Red Hook, the Red Hook Police Department announced.
