Major crash seals off airport entrance at Belvedere and Perimeter; all lanes closed

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A major crash shut down a key intersection serving Palm Beach International Airport late Friday morning, according to Florida 511.

The crash happened on Belvedere Road East at Perimeter Road, an intersection that functions as a primary entrance to the airport. All lanes were closed as of 10:40 a.m. as emergency crews responded.

Florida 511 classified the incident as “major,” but it remains unclear how many vehicles were involved or whether there were any injuries.
