BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Brunswick County is one of four contending locations for a proposed critical minerals processing facility that its developers say would be the first of its kind in the United States.
American seabed minerals company Glomar Minerals and Australian firm Cobalt Blue Holdings Limited announced June 15 that they had selected Brunswick County, along with two sites in the New Orleans region and one on the Texas Gulf Coast, as contenders for Project Infinity.
