The Worcester School Committee this week approved a $623.6 million school budget for the next fiscal year, with healthcare and special education tuition getting more money and instructional materials getting less.
The committee unanimously voted in favor of the fiscal 2027 budget Thursday night. It is $34.38 million more than last year’s budget of $589.3 million, according to the budget summary.
