AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — On Thursday, a judge denied the Amarillo Independent School District’s Motion for Summary Judgement in the case of a student who died almost four years ago due to an epileptic seizure on AISD grounds.
According to documents filed in Texas Northern District Court, Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk denied a motion filed on behalf of AISD for a Motion For Summary Judgement. Granting the motion would have stopped the lawsuit from proceeding to trial.
